Graphic Design Solutions & Requirements

Here at TMG Exhibits we can provide you with:

- Graphic Layouts

Although we can handle almost all types of graphic files, in order to get the best results, we provide our clients with the following guidelines:

Best Applications:

- Photoshop CS3
- Illustrator CS3
- InDesign CS3

QuarkXPress 6 is accepted; however, it is not preferred for large-scaled graphics and there is a charge associated with converting the Quark files to EPS’s.[Note] Other programs, such as Powerpoint & Microsoft Word are not acceptable file formats for final graphic output.

LOGOS & TYPES:
All images and text must be laid out in a Vector-Based program and all logos must be vector artwork.

RESOLUTION:
All original images are required to be 150 dpi at final output size for inkjet prints.

FONTS:
Please create and provide us with a separate folder that includes copies of all of the fonts you plan to use in your graphics and documentation.

LINKED FILES:
Make sure to include all linked files.  This includes any placed or embedded files in the layout.  Also, please keep all layers intact and avoid flattening Photoshop Files.

INCLUDE A PROOF:
Provide TMG with a hard copy or a PDF, which will allow us to see exactly how you want your final image to look.  Please make notes of any Pantone color matching that needs to be done.  These notes can be written directly on the proof.  This includes writing what percentage of the final size your layout was created at.

PROPORTIONS:
Whenever possible, have you files set up at the final size.  If the program you are using has pasteboard size restrictions, please use simple reduction percentages such as 25%, 50%, or 75%.  Also, make sure that your layout is proportional to the final size you require.

BLEED:
Make sure to pull your background colors or images out to include at least a 1/4 inch all around at final size.  This is especially important if your print is to be mounted.

FILE SUBMISSION:
E-mail any files less than 7MB.  If your files exceed 7MB, please send them to us by CD, DVD, or Flashdrive.
